IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to feeling sick for the first half of the Jam, I only had 1 week to make this game as opposed to the 2 everyone else got. As such, the game is only really half-finished and the story had to be rushed. I apologise for the lower quality of this entry, and if I ever feel motivated, I may make an update in the future to bring it closer to the original vision.

It's also come to my attention I may have overtuned the final fight due to the addition of an extra colour, which was a REALLY bad idea in retrospect since it causes a huge difficulty spike for pretty much no reason. I mis-remembered there being 5 in standard Puyo Puyo matches so I thought it'd be fine... I was wrong. I can't change it since the jam rating period is still going on but just know I'm really sorry...

You may notice a lack of options and the fact the game's locked to a small resolution, that's because I wasn't able to properly implement the menus before the time limit. I'm incredibly sorry about this, especially if it causes any streamers issues. Also I should point it out bc it'd feel like false advertising if I didn't, but the amazing art for the game was done by Gatomon before we had the whole vibe of the game ironed out, but it turned out so good it'd have been a shame not to use it somewhere.

Also I just wanna make it 100% clear that while there are 2 other games with the name Doki-Pop or some variation upon, I came up with the name independantly since I wasn't aware of them.

DokiPOP is a Puyo Puyo styled game where you have to match sets of 4 or more Dragoons or Wisps in matching colours, and potentially set off chain reactions!

CONTROLS:

Up/Down or Mouse Movement - Navigate Menus
Left/Right or Mouse Movement - Move pieces
Z/X or East/South Buttons or Scroll/Right Click - Rotate pieces
Up/Down or Left Click - Drop pieces
Escape or Start - Pause
