UPDATE

V1.11 is out for MOLF! It contains all the 1.1 changes (New Backgrounds, Boss Markers, etc.), but with one extra song for the ending, I hope you enjoy ^^ Though unfortunately, due to some filename messups on my part, the original 1.1 got overwritten ><;

If you want the jam experience, though it isn't the jam build, I recommend playing 1.01, although it isn't the jam version, it's the same except it's also got fullscreen support! Otherwise, play the latest version!

TOUHOU PROJECT- MYSTIC ORIENTAL LOVE FESTIVAL

Hi everyone! This is my entry for the annual Touhou pride jam, and my first game jam game in general! Being my first game and all, I ran into overscoping issues and wasn't able to fully achieve my vision, but I feel like I got very close ^^; All the gameplay and such is complete, but if you're wondering why the menus look so bad, that's why. Also, we ran out of time for ending graphics, so apologies.

PLOT

Outside the Hakurei shrine, the loud noises of Danmaku fights fill the air. A couple's Danmaku battle competition is now underway, a battle to see which pair of lovebirds have the most powerful and beautiful attacks, however, the shrine maiden, Reimu Hakurei, isn't too pleased with the fighting outside her shrine, since it's keeping her up at night. So she sets out to find the people behind this incident, along with the ordinary magician Marisa Kirisame, acting as her partner. Will they successfully take down the festival? Or will... other matters complicate things?

GAMEPLAY

MOLF is your typical Touhou STG fangame, with the caviat of there being no bombs. In their place however, is the ability to switch between Reimu and Marisa at will. Not only can you switch between 2 different shot types for different situations, but you can also use invincibility frames to quickly phase through bullets that would have killed you otherwise!
