I call it a demo because I plan on updating this game again in the future with levels that I had initially cut for the sake of time, along with the true final boss (Who would have fit the green sub-theme pretty well, shame about that ><;)

TOUHOU- SHRINE MAIDEN ADVENTURE

Reimu Hakurei,  known as the shrine maiden of paradise, was rudely awoken one day to an infestation of youkai at her shrine! As she got ready to fight off her new uninvited guests, she caught a glimpse of a young red haired witch flying away, while chuckling. Having a hunch that said girl was behind it, she set off on a quest to find her and make her pay for dessacrating the Hakurei shrine!

Touhou Shrine Maiden Adventure is a PC-98 styled platformer inspired by the likes of Super Mario, but with a Touhou-y twist! Play through 4 short (hey, it's a game jam, alright?) levels with 2 deadly boss fights awaiting you!

Unfortunately, I couldn't exactly incorporate the second theme of green into the game, but who knows? Maybe something would happen if you were to type that word onto the title screen after clearing the game... Eh, probably not though.

CONTROLS

For once, Kit actually made a game with controller support! The controls for both keyboard and controller are listed below.

Left and Right / Left analog stick- Walk

Up / Bottom face button- Jump (Hold to Jump higher)

Hold Z / Left face button while walking- Run

Escape / Start- Pause

Z / Bottom face button- Select Option (In menus)
